There aren’t any federal restrictions regulating the ownership or possession of muzzle or breech loading black-powder cannons per 18 U.S.C. § 921(a)(3): (3) because they are not legally considered firearms. However, it's recommended you check with local authorities regarding noise ordnance and the ability to purchase black powder blank shells or granulated black powder or substitute (pyrodex) powder. Black powder blanks and granulated black powder may be available at your local firearm sporting shops & via mail order. North American Cannon llc assumes no liability in the use of our product. North American Cannon will warranty any manufacturing defect for the life of your cannon. Please contact us for warranty service. Any misuse of a North American Cannon (shooting projectiles, using smokeless powder, over-loading, modification or poor preventative maintenance for example) will immediately void said warranty.
IT IS NEVER OKAY TO SHOOT PROJECTILES OR SUBSTITUTE SMOKELESS POWDER FOR BLACK-POWDER IN ANY NAC CANNON- DOING SO MAY CAUSE SERIOUS BODILY INJURY OR DEATH AND MAY BE ILLEGAL!
